This website is deliberately designed without tracking and without marketing cookies. The only exception is the embedded booking system of Smoobu (see section 4).

2. Principle: no cookies, no tracking
This website itself sets no cookies, uses no analytics or marketing tools and does not embed any external fonts or map services. When you simply view the pages, no personal data is transmitted to third parties.
3. Hosting & server log files
The website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 47–51, 4020 Linz, Austria. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, volume of data transferred, browser type) in server log files, insofar as this is necessary for secure and stable operation. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after a short period, unless it is needed to clarify misuse or malfunctions.
4. Booking via Smoobu
For availability display, booking and payment processing, we embed the booking system of Smoobu GmbH, Wattstraße 11, 13355 Berlin, Germany, as an iFrame. Only when you interact with the booking window is the data you enter (e.g. name, contact details, travel dates) transmitted to Smoobu and processed there to handle the booking. In doing so, Smoobu may set technically necessary cookies.
The legal basis is the performance of the contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Details can be found in Smoobu's privacy policy at smoobu.com/de/datenschutz.
Payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland). The payment data you enter during the booking process is transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there; complete card details are not stored by us. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Further information at stripe.com/at/privacy.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details in order to handle the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required, insofar as no statutory retention obligations exist.
6. Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
