When darkness falls early, the most beautiful time of year begins in Mariazell. Around the Basilica and across the main square the Mariazell Advent unfolds, with glowing lights, crafts, stalls and the scent of gingerbread and mulled wine. From our apartments it is only a few steps into the heart of it — and just as quickly back into the warmth.
In Advent that is a real advantage: after strolling around the market you don't have to get into a car, but are back in your own apartment within two minutes. There a fully equipped kitchen is waiting — ideal for making a tea or mulled wine and letting the evening wind down in comfort.
